Money for Mission Conference. This year will be the third annual Money For Mission Conference. This year´s event will be held at the Turning Stone Resort in Syracuse, NY in June.  This one-day event has sold out two years in a row and we expect a capacity crowd again this year. The conference brings noted funders, philanthropists, fundraising gurus, social entrepreneurs and marketing ‘wizzes’ together for a day of inspiration and education in generating resources (including focus on social innovation) for nonprofits. Fundraising and resource generation is a primary focus for nonprofits all over the state. Camp Finance 2008.  Recognized as New York State’s premiere financial management conference for nonprofit organizations, this event, now in it’s fifth year, will be held at the historic and majestic Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, NY on October 11th and 12th, 2007. Situated conveniently close to New York City and Albany (and worth the drive from anywhere!), “The Mountain House” has hosted our Camp Finance since it’s inception in 2002. Past speakers include representatives from the IRS, the New York State Attorney General’s office, Guidestar.org, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Comptroller´s Office and State Agency representatives. This year’s conference will bring together the foremost thinkers in nonprofit financial management, board governance, and technology and integration.
